Does Vortexo provide movies, shows, or channels?
No. Vortexo is a client for a Plex server that you configure and are authorized to access. It does not bundle or sell media access.
What can I connect?
Connect your own Plex server as the media source. You can also optionally connect Trakt for account features and provide your own Gemini API key for subtitle translation.
Which Apple devices are supported?
Vortexo is presented for iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV. Check the App Store listing on your device for the current operating-system and hardware requirements.
How does Gemini subtitle translation work?
Translation is optional and off by default. When enabled with your own Gemini API key, Vortexo sends subtitle text to Google for translation into your selected language.
What does Vortexo Pro unlock?
Pro adds supported 4K and HDR unlocks, advanced playback and subtitle controls, and enhanced continuity features for your Plex experience.
How do I restore a previous Pro purchase?
Open Vortexo settings and use Restore Purchases while signed in with the same Apple ID used for the original App Store purchase.
